GTA 6 is officially coming our way in 2026, with Rockstar confirming an amended release date which pushes it out of previous 2025 launch window. The news of the delay also come with a second trailer, which gave us plenty of unpack.
In fact, fans meticulously combed over all 5000-plus frames of the latest trailer to pick it apart as much as possible – with impressive beer tech and cloth animations being big talking points among fans. Following the trailer, Rockstar also dropped more details about the dual protagonists Lucia and Jason, as well as the supporting cast. And as if that wasn’t enough to get excited about, we’ve also gotten more insight into GTA 6’s setting.
With every detail that drops, the more the level of excitement only continues to grow for what is easily one of the biggest and most talked about new games coming our way next year. With over a decade behind us since the launch of GTA 5, there’s certainly a big appetite for a new open-world adventure from Rockstar – which is said to have been in the works since 2018.
