As mentioned, this is the upgraded model with 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. With the deal, you’re paying $150 less than you’d spend on the $650 model with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.What sets the Legion Go S apart from the competition is its excellent ergonomics, making it more comfortable to use for extended periods compared to alternatives like the Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally. It’s also more comfortable–though less powerful–than the original Lenovo Legion Go 8.8-inch handheld, which is on sale for $550 (was $750).It’s worth emphasizing that this edition of the Legion Go S uses Windows 11 as its operating system. Windows supports thousands of games across Steam, Xbox Game Pass, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and more, but navigating through the menus can be a chore compared to the current standard for portable gaming OSes, SteamOS. A SteamOS version of the Legion Go S is also available, though it’s not part of the sale.
